A Poem of the Call of Life

Universe, I’m ready!
I’m ready to go all-in
I’m ready to jump into the abyss of Love

I’m ready to risk heartbreak and loss; the cold, lonely, emptiness of desolation, utter destruction
It’s the only way
I’ve only 30–40 years left, realistically
I’ve wasted so much time playing it safe
doing what others wanted
my duty

I’m ready!
But I don’t know how
I don’t see the path
I feel it building — I know it’s coming, but the waiting…

So much is happening inside me
It feels like the very molecular structure inside me is transforming

All I thought I wanted makes no sense
All there now is
Freedom
Creativity
Love
Mystery

I want to jump into the deep
I want to find the cliff
I want to feel the urgency — the pull
I hear You calling me

Show me
Open my eyes to see
Guide my feet to the launch point
I will trust
I will leap
I am ready!
